Registering as
a New Builder -
Register as a new home
builder today and see the selling
power
the Internet has to offer. Canadian
Builder.com in a national search
engine for new home buyers. Use
Canadian Builder to promote Sub
Divisions
you are building in, as well as list
new homes across Canada.
To Join, click the
Members Tab at the top of the page,
select Become a New Builder from the
left hand side, and follow the step
by step instructions.

Welcome Page
and Builders Panel -
Builder
Info - Select to fill out
or change information about your
company.
This info will be displayed along
with each listing details.
Calendar - Add, remove or
modify important dates for members
to view.
Contacts - Add, remove or
modify your business contacts, and
reference.
Guestbook
-
Add, Remove,
and View entries from clients and
colleagues.
Images - Add or remove
pictures of homes that you are
listing.
Listings - Add, remove or
modify details about New Homes your
are listing. To list a house, you
must first register a subdivision.
Profile - Add links to
your website, virtual tour, upload
your company logo.
Note Pad - Communicate
with members, trades, or other
builders.
Remote Link - Link
your personal website to your
Canadian Builder Listings.
Subdivisions - Add,
remove or modify subdivisions that
you are located in. You must have a
subdivision entered to list a house.
Website
- If you do not have an existing
website, use Canadian builders
templates to make a small website to
showcase your homes. Click the
website link on either the profile
page, or on the web panel and follow
the step by step instructions.
Manage
Subdivisions
Add - Click on
Subdivision link, click the add
button, enter your Province,
Subdivision Name, City Locations,
description and keywords about your
area.
Edit - Click on the
Subdivision name, and change the
required information, hit update.
Delete - Click on the
Subdivision name, and click delete.
Manage
Listings
Add - Click on Listings
link, click the add button, select
the Subdivision it is located in,
enter the description and keywords,
hit submit.
Edit - Click on the
Listing name, change the required
information, hit update.
Delete - Click on the
Listing name, and click delete.
Manage
Images
Add -
Click upload, enter the file name
you would like to upload. If you
aren't sure, click browse, and use
your computer to find where the
images are located.
*Hint:
Keeping pictures in a file named
'Images' on your
desktop makes them
easy to locate.
Delete -
Select a previously uploaded picture
by clicking the circle next to it,
and then click delete at the top of
the page.
Note Pad -
Add -
Click add to make a new entry.
Update -
After Initial entry, add text to
document and hit Update.
Delete -
Click Delete to delete the page.
Export -
Click export to save your entry onto
your computer.

templates to make a small website to
showcase your homes.

Registering as

home today. Your favourites list
lets you bookmark homes you like,
and the Dream Home feature alerts
you of homes that come available

Edit Favourites - Click
your Favourites Listing name to view
it or select the button beside it
and click the 'Delete' button to
remove it.
Member Info - Select to
fill out or change information about
your company.
This info will be displayed along
with each listing details.
General Help -
(top of the
page)
Mortgage Calculator
-
Enter the mortgage amount,
the time frame you would
expect to amortize it in, the
interest rate for that amount, and
our Mortgage Calculator will
generate a minimum monthly payment.
Forgotten Password -
If you forgot your password,
click on the Members tab at the top
of the page, and select the forgot
password option at the bottom left
of the page, you will be prompted
with the Password Hint you supplied
on registering, and when the answer
is correct, you will be
automatically signed in.
